Pressure control & Relief valve (PRV) limited warranty.
Note:
- All installations must comply with SANS 10254.
- Installation must be conducted by an authorized installer.
- This warranty applies to products supplied by EVO Valves only and does not extend to any latent damage that may accrue.
Warranty:
EVO Valves come with a comprehensive one (1) year parts and labor warranty and a guarantee to replace the EVO valve if it fails within five (5) years of installation.
5 Year replacement guarantee:
EVO Valves will provide a free replacement valve from it’s nearest branch or approved agent.
Where an EVO Valve or component of the valve is replaced, the balance of any original warranty remains effective. The replacement EVO Valve or part does not carry any additional warranty or replacement guarantee.
The period of warranty is from date of installation, provided proof of installation and sale is furnished, or alternatively from date of manufacture, as determined from the part’s manufactured date.
The following conditions apply:
- The EVO Valves warranty only applies to defects, which have arisen solely due to faulty materials or workmanship during the manufacturing process of the valve.
- The warranty does not cover:
- Any damage or malfunction due foreign matter in the water supply.
- Any damage due to lack of maintenance.
- Misuse, abuse, or negligent use of the EVO Valve.
- Abuse or mutilation of the valve during or due to installation.
- Fair wear and tear.
- Any attempt to self-repair or alter the product.
- Use of the product in a non-approved environment or application.
Maintenance:
- Switch off the water supply to the Valve that is to be replaced before commencing and maintenance or replacement.
- Make sure any water that may drain from the valve assembly is accounted for.
- PRV: the cartridge of the PRV should be checked every two years or as required. The cartridge should be checked for any debris that may block or restrict the function of the valve.
