Design Team
Our Operations Manager/ Design specialist:
Over 14 years’ experience in the plumbing industry he has developed products including Solar collectors, Geysers and IoT systems, world class valve, and continues to refine and improve the production process for EVO.
He has developed and managed national training programs for SABS and other companies and is on several Technical Committees and Work groups at SABS and also the Chairman of the DWH-MANCOS and a member of the governing board for AS-Watermark.

I am delighted to share the story behind the inception of Evolution Valves and our remarkable journey in revolutionizing the plumbing industry in South Africa.
With over 12 years of experience, our journey began as a distributor, supplying high-quality products nationwide, including to Mass Mart, the largest retailer in South Africa. However, a significant turning point came when the manufacturer we partnered with decided to bypass us and engage directly with our clients. This pivotal moment sparked a bold vision within us: to innovate, manufacture, and supply our own line of superior plumbing products.
Recognizing the longstanding dominance of a few players in the South African market, particularly in the local manufacturing of pressure control valves protected for over 50 years, we knew we were facing formidable challenges. The prevailing belief was that it would be impossible for a new entrant to design innovative products and secure the critical SANS 198 certification.
Undeterred, we embarked on an ambitious journey. Over 3.5 years, through dedication, rigorous testing, and collaboration, we meticulously designed and perfected our range of valves. Our mission was clear: to bring cutting-edge, high-quality solutions that exceed market expectations.
Achieving SANS 198 certification was a monumental milestone. We understood that this certification was not just a requirement but a testament to the quality and reliability of our products. Through perseverance and a meticulous approach, we successfully obtained this certification within a year.
I am proud to announce that we have completed our first successful year of supplying Evolution Valves to the South African market. Despite initial scepticism, our products have been warmly received by customers and industry professionals alike. We have carved out a niche by offering reliable, efficient, and certified valve solutions that meet the highest industry standards.
Our journey has been challenging, but our commitment to innovation and quality has never wavered. We are excited about the future and the opportunities that lie ahead for Evolution Valves.
